Manager's Message

I LOVE the US Open especially when it is a brutal course. Pinehurst is supposed to be especially brutal so fully expect several players this week walking around the course pouting because they threw away 5 shots from 100 yards out and swearing that it is not a fair test!

I love it when these multi-millionaire professional golfers are sometimes made to look like Mulligans walking around Saunton East GC having scored a miserable 21 points off 19 handicap.

l mostly love the US Open because it takes place on Father's Day Weekend so I feel no guilt telling my loved ones to leave me alone and let me watch golf, in my pants, drinking beer with a bag on giant Wotsits by my side. It is the true spirit of Father's Day.

This week is a major, so it is double the points - don't forget to make your picks.
